White Americans have gone completely mad. Its like they are dogs inflicted by rabies. Everything the priests said was 110% correct. The Orlando night club massacre, the San Diego killings, Boston marathon, September 11, 2001, ad nausea they attack the priest and remain silent about the religion that produced the people that kill. Its pure hypocrisy. Where are those same Whites when unarmed Blacks are gunned down by police officers. Where are they when affirmative action and other redial programs to address discrimination are suggested? How outraged are they about failure to address them? If they are so outraged by what the priest said then they should remove their children and go join the local mosque.

What is Islam is the question we should be asking. Is it the simple rules espoused by the apologists such as "The five pillars of faith"? That's certainly an easy read and presents a blissful view of Islam. Or is Islam a charter of various depths of understanding that requires time and effort to read and understand? There seems to be a willful ignorance in American culture among the liberal thinking that precludes the effort to examine the tenets of Islam from its earliest scholarly sources, including the Qu'ran, Hadith, and histories. I urge people to read from these documents before they form opinions. The wootz steel sword of the 7th and 8th century exterminated entire communities of Christians and Jews in the Hejaz and Levant and North Africa. This was based on imperatives that exhorted followers to attack based on religious belief under the theological imperative that worshipping the wrong God made Allah angry, and that in attacking the unbelievers the spoils of war were to be shared amongst the attackers. Christian and Jewish captives were occasionally given the choice of conversion, remaining in their religion but paying extortion tax called the Jizya, or being beheaded. The Islamic State mimicked the behavior of Muhammad and the Rashidun Caliphs, even citing specific applicable hadith narratives to justify their atrocities. We need to read what inspires them before we cast judgement on what the Belen priest is saying. Read Tabari's histories. Start with volume 17 pages 187-191 to see how the early Rashidun Muslims were expected to treat religious minorities and apostates. It's very clear.

Qur'an 5:51—O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Qur'an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Qur'an 9:30—And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Qur'an:8:12, “I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.”
Qur'an:47:4 "When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam."
Qur'an: 8:55: "Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve"
Qur'an:8:65 "O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; if there are a hundred then they will slaughter a thousand unbelievers, for the infidels are a people devoid of understanding."
Qur'an:9:123 "Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you

Ishaq:530 "Get out of his way, you infidel unbelievers. Every good thing goes with the Apostle. Lord, I believe in his word. We will fight you about its interpretations as we have fought you about its revelation with strokes that will remove heads from shoulders and make enemies of friends."

Tabari IX:69 "Arabs are the most noble people in lineage, the most prominent, and the best in deeds. We were the first to respond to the call of the Prophet. We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will fight him forever in the Cause of Allah. Killing him is a small matter to us."

Too bad the  Catholic clergy don't listen to their own like this priest.  I guess cracking open Islamic text, laws and history is a bit too much for most of the clergy that has allowed blasphemy in the Catechism (#841) and would rather butt kiss moslems instead of taking care of the souls that are Catholics.
